Technodrome’ and its 24-foot castle facade form a gateway to a dystopian cyberpunk world. Set on a background of a faux castle wall, ‘Technodrome’ is a merging of old and new, predicting a future that is both exciting and terrifying.
A common thread among all artists is a counter-culture attitude; most are anonymous in their public works. Like the artists involved, get inspired to think critically about the world.

Join Bolm Arts for a show featuring work from local Austin artists Sydney Dettmar and Marta Shirt, who believe that life is shaped by both “Nature and Nurture.” Although working in different mediums, both artist’s work is rich with layers of texture, color, and meaning.
Marta Shirt creates artwork that celebrates the beauty and peace that can be found in nature by incorporating dense layers of treated moss and other locally sourced organic materials. Having been inspired by her own mental health struggles, she seeks to bring the soothing aspects of nature into indoor spaces in a way that is accessible to anyone, regardless of where they are at in their own mental health journeys.
Also inspired by her own history, Sydney’s collage-based works explore themes of girlhood trauma, family dysfunction, and societal hypocrisy. Using collage materials sourced from her collection of vintage Seventeen and Playboy magazines from the 1950s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, these works express sentiments that still feel remarkably relevant to today’s world. Come explore and celebrate the complexities of life, love, and beauty at the opening of ‘Nature And Nurture.’
Color has the power to change moods, trigger memories, influence decisions and even raise your blood pressure. It has the capability of conveying a wealth of emotional and energetic information. It can be healing, nostalgic, and also cold or violent. Artists Priscilla Lustig, Vincent Martinez, Stephanie Mervine, and Alex Saxon explore the many different ways color can visually communicate in their abstract works. From subtle patterns to bold geometric compositions, be prepared to experience the full spectrum.
Priscilla Lustig is an American artist based in Austin, Texas and Los Angeles, California. Her bold, color-filled abstract paintings and objects are playful in nature and serve as an outlet for psychological exploration and self expansion. Follow @priscillalustig

Kline, a talented multidisciplinary artist, presents a collection of abstract sculptures and large canvas paintings that depict mesmerizing and eclectic creatures and flora. Through her solo show, Kline delves into the essence of the human experience, exploring her theories on the relationship between sex, love, and mental illness. She also contemplates the potential of human creative intelligence to surpass our primal instincts and challenge the laws of nature and humanity. This exhibition creates a captivating battle between the heart and the mind, offering a unique glimpse into Kline's extraordinary perspective.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Kline holds various other professions, including being a psychotherapist and bartender. Drawing inspiration from her experiences in dimly lit bars on sixth street, her interactions with clients as a mental health professional, and her personal journey as a woman navigating love, loss, and life, Kline has also written a book titled "Things She'll Never Say: reflections on the human condition." This book features a collection of essays, poems, and contemplations that beautifully complement her abstract paintings and sculptures. Select pieces from the book will be paired with her artwork at the exhibition, providing viewers with a comprehensive understanding of her stories and visual creations.
Self-Expression has no boundaries. Tim Kerr, Lisa Alley, and Jamie Morrison are not to be categorized; they refuse to confine to just one choice, medium, and art form. Their group show ‘But wait, there’s more’ at Bolm Arts unpacks music and the visual arts from their separate boxes. Like Sun Ra, "Not of your world." The end goal is creativity, expression, and giving voice, guaranteeing a wild and colorful group show in which lines get blurred between all categories of creation.
Kerr, Alley, and Morrison are known for their creativity in music, performance, and songwriting in their myriad of bands spanning a multitude of genres (Kerr - Big Boys, Poison 13, Monkey Wrench, Up Around the Sun), (Alley - The Well, Mugger, TVs Daniel), (Morrison - Pale Angels, Dog Heaven, Motorbike), but the needle doesn't stop there.
A message from the artists, "Self Expression flows frome well found deep in all of us. It is a performance, a song, a poem, a photo, a piece of clothing, a quilt, a rug, a sculpture, a teapot, or a painting. There is no limit. To some, like us, we do it and need it to live, just like breathing the air we breathe. Come celebrate with us, and maybe, if you have not already, find a glass to drink from your very own well."
