Artist Statement

As a photographer and storyteller, I work across social documentary, collaborative, and personal approaches to explore how images can shape understanding and connection.

Grounded in lived experience and shaped by time spent across cultures and communities, my work explores themes of memory, displacement, identity, resilience, and belonging—examining how individuals and communities preserve cultural memory, navigate home, and reimagine their futures. Through social documentary and participatory collaborations, I use storytelling to foster dialogue and cultural exchange.

My personal work often turns inward, exploring memory, place, and personal agency through intimate visual narratives.
