Artist Biography

Marie Ketring is a multi-discipline artist working in silver gelatin and alternative process photography and film making. Born in New Mexico, raised in North Dakota, and settled in Buda, Texas; her interest in photography stems from its unique storytelling capabilities.

Her work is rooted in analog techniques that show the evidence of human hands and the unexpected nature of chemical image making. She is currently working on a photographic series inspired by tourist postcards of the Southwest.
