Artist Biography

Zachary David Farry, a.k.a. Zac the Maker,was born and raised in Austin-Texas. He has spent his life in and out of the creative scene in Austin-Texas from going to art camps as a child at Dougherty art center to landing a job with Chuy’s Restaurants where he became one of their top designers and in-house artists. Zac spent 10 years building Elvis shrines for Chuy’s all across the country. Now using his years of experience to explore the art of bricolage - the practice of creating something new with limited available resources. He strives to make affordable art for the everday person while exploring the design techniques he learned in and out of the corporate art world.
