BOLM ARTS PRESENTS: the body becomes site x Divina: The Docushort Debut Screening!

Bolm Arts is delighted to present [the body becomes the site] a group exhibition curated by Devin Alejandro Wilder that showcases the expansive creative practices of lgbtqia+ local drag entertainers working across conceptualism, performance, and new media. Featuring contemporary garmentry, installation, projection, moving image, and experimental video works—[the body becomes the site] reintroduces performance-based objects as artifacts and self documentation as sovereign living archive.

 In alignment with Bolm’s mission to support accessible Arts spaces, this exhibition functions to spotlight a cohort of many first-time exhibiting multimedia artists from our local queer performance art communities: Danté Picante / Ángel Avila, Dust Bunny, Franky LA’Mour, Liz Dexia, Good Lucifer, and Rosalind Hussell.
