Unspoken Words: A Poetry Writing Workshop

Unspoken Words is a poetry writing workshop designed as a quiet entry point into the exploration of unconscious thoughts through free association and creative expression. Through a series of guided exercises rooted in reflection and creative expression, the workshop encourages individuals to release the pressure of perfection and instead engage with language as a tool for discovery.

This class is offered with a $10 suggested donation, though participants are welcome to contribute based on what feels accessible to them. All materials and supplies will be provided.

After the workshop, participants are invited to stay for our monthly Poetry Night hosted by Sydney Dettmar! You’re welcome to share the poetry created at the workshop, bring your own poetry or prose, or share pieces from your favorite authors and lyricists. Our friendly and respectful atmosphere is a perfect space to share your work with other creative voices.
